Easy Ways to Make Money on Internet Explained
There are easy ways to make money on the internet, but that is not to say it is easy to make money on the net. However a lot of aspiring Internet Marketers have the erroneous belief that making money on internet is easy. These are two different statements with parallel meanings. They can never be the same yet a lot of people take them as synonymous. That is the first mistake a lot of internet marketers make and that is why more fail online. I say this because I have been a notion of that cliche. I have been looking for ways to make money on the internet and in my search I have come across a lot of money making programs that made me believe that making money on the internet was easy! The ways might be easy but not the act of doing!
This is not to say you can't make money online or to bad mouth other people, may be they have discovered a way to shorten a newbies learning curve. There are lot of ways one can make money online some are easy, some take time. However here I want to express my opinion and if you are somewhat in a similar situation as me you might appreciate a lot of things I have to say. Besides there are many ways of killing a cat - this is a common expression here, more of a proverb, I hope you don't take offense in that. I'm going to share with you my wins and loses as well my methods of doing things...
If there is a lesson I have learned well as an internet marketer, it is this “you got to work at everything, nothing is easy. Easy comes after doing.” My intention here is to share my experiences with you and try to help you not to fall in the traps that I fell into. I will also tell you real life situations that happened to me. But first I would like you to be on the same page with me, to see if conceptually we agree. Here is one concept I want to share – do you know how easy it is to ride a bicycle? It is very easy! But learning to ride is another story. When you pedal you automatically look at your feet and at the same time the front wheel will turn where ever as if on its own and you won’t even notice until someone points it out to or you fall. Or take when learning to drive a car – when you want to change gears you will want to look where the gear lever is. In fact you might also instinctively use the right hand instead of the left hand for right handed vehicles! Do see where I’m getting at?
Well this is not a lesson about riding a bicycle or driving a car, it is about the confusion between easy ways to earn money online and how easy it is to make money on internet! I have been on this route for a long time with slow and un-impressive progress – not really the way I anticipated it. I would like to have quit my job now and running an internet home business from home! Let us look at a few live examples that have happened to me, this is a bit of my online portfolio and I hope it will inspire or teach you one or 2 things about money making on the internet. As you read along there are a few hidden golden nuggets that might spark a ray of hope of you are struggling online. I’m sorry I did not know any other way I could present them to you more explicitly especially that I’m not a copywriter. I also write as if I’m talking to you so some things may not be very easy to pick up a in any conversation. At the same time I wanted to write this with intention to share something useful that someone might learn from. It’s more of a story of inspiration, desperation and persistence. I know many would have quit especially with the limited resources and difficulties I had.
When my online journey started, looking for ways to earn extra money to supplement my income, I had no internet connection or access at home. I was mostly using internet at work and from internet cafes. My files were stored and carried in a memory stick. Almost any attempt I made to make money would result in a loss because either the method of payment was not applicable in my country or if I received a check it would be unprofitable to cash it, in fact I would be losing. When I could afford internet connection at home – from pay raise – dial up was the only available option. When I did connect it would take over 10 minutes to load a website. 10 minutes of dial up connection was about $5 worth. Yet I will not be able to do anything because clicking on any icon would be another 5 minutes of reloading. It was hopeless!
Fast forward to 12 months after, there was introduction to Mobile Internet. So wherever there was a cellphone signal you could also access internet. I subscribed and my bill for 3 months amounted to $1500. Ouch! I had to discontinue the service immediately. I reverted to accessing internet at work and internet cafes using a memory stick to store my files.
Now it’s another 12 months since my $1,500 bill and a new service was introduced by a different internet service provider. This service has re-kindled my hope of running internet home businesses. Well with this I just wanted to share with you my hardships of how got to be where I am, it was not easy for me though my challenges are unique to me. What is key is these are just challenges no matter how odd they maybe, they should never be allowed to dampen your desire to make money on the net!
Well let's move on with our discussion on easy ways to earn money on internet and how the process can be dauntingly difficult! My first purchase online taught me the concept of creating wealth including affiliate internet marketing. The purchase also had an affiliate program to sell the same product. At the time I did not know that I could have my own website let alone run a business online. Next I shifted to the so called legitimate home based businesses where I was also experienced seemingly discouraging results. I had sent well over 3,000 visitors to my home based business website and I got 4 sign-ups - 3 were my friends that i talked to face to face and 1 was really via my online campaigns. In addition I had spent over $2,000 in courses, systems and advertising - may be more now that i include advertising!
